captain america review

We all know Captain America, right? If you didn't know the iconic superhero, where the hell have you been? Captain America is my favorite superhero since my younger years. I love his simplicity and courageousness. I love how he attacks the opponents in Marvel Vs. Capcom, which turns out the first game I played. So, when I heard they will made a live-action film, I couldn't even get more excited.

Yeah, I was invited from last night's AXN screening of Captain America in Shangri-La. AXN staffs, if you're reading this, thanks for the invites. I love the event and still I couldn't stop thinking about the film.

The event is nice, lots of games, promos, and other bunch of stuffs.

By the way, let's go to the film. Captain America: The First Avenger tells the story of Steve Rogers, a simple, skinny, bullied guy who was forced to be part of an secret project, The Project Rebirth. Then, Steve turns from an skinny guy to an muscular, strong man and now called Captain America. Now, can Steve defeat the vicious Red Skull who is conquering the world with Adolf Hitler? Find out in a cinema near you!

This film is way beyond better than Ironman. Many people might say Ironman is much better than this, well, I love this film even more than Ironman. The main thing I loved about the film is the story. The story is a lot more complex than Ironman that mades it much more awesome. I love the Steve Rogers transformation, to me, that's what real technology is about. At first, i thought Chris Evans lose a f%$king heavy weight to portray the thin Steve. The film is even more better if there's not enough special effects, I do much prefer shooting in a 50s landmark rather than in a green screen.

Chris Evans is really fit for this role. You may know him as the Human Torch in Fantastic Four but well, he changed a lot here. I guess he transforms from a lame actor to a really unbelievable Captain America in this film. Hayley Atwell, yeah, yeah, he's allright. Hugo Weaving, he's great in this film. He did a very serious, dark Red Skull far more than I expected. Dominic Cooper from Mama Mia also did a surprising Howard Stark portrayal here, I love him here and he's kinda get like 20 minute screenshot, which was kinda disappointing, i hope he has more scenes here.

The 3D was okay. There's no 3D effect here, just the shield which was flying right in your face and the end credits, which I thought, gives me the 50s feeling. I love most of the action scenes here. Some scenes are funny but I don't love humor in Superhero movies. I love the Dark Knight serious feeling where there's no humor at all, just action and pure Nolan awesomeness.

The geek rates it 7.4/10. It was okay, love the ending and The Avengers trailer but I want more action.
