Real Steel (Film Review)

Transformers + Rocky = One Hell of a movie

In the near future, robots have taken the spot over humans in the boxing ring. A former boxer Charlie Kenton (Hugh Jackman) struggles to make a living with patched-up robots in shady venues.

When he discovers he has an 11-year old son (Dakota Goyo) that a robot found in the junk heap has what it takes to win, he finds himself with a shot at the big time.
So, the film was perfectly nice and awesome. I would totally recommend this film instead of Transformers because it's all here. Non-Stop boxing, Action, Awesome Acting and a whole lot of moving soundtrack. Shawn Levy pretty much did a great job to the film. When I saw the teaser trailer of the film, I was not that impressed. Either excited or amazed, I just felt like i'm going to miss this film.

Surprisingly, it's kick-ass and amazing. It's the perfect film to see this weekend with your friends and family. It's an heart-warming typical family film you shouldn't wanna miss. The soundtrack is absolutely nice. I feel like I wanna dance with Max whenever they dance with Atom.

Hugh Jackman did a nice acting to this film. His perfect to this role and he really made a great portrayal. To Dakota Goyo, who portrays Max Kenton, you pretty did an awesome job to this film. You know he's clever that he knows what to do and he is almost there always, meaning he just got what we really used to love in a child actor.

Visual Effects, it's kinda great but when it comes to effects, I recommend you Transformers. Not literally speaking that it's that bad, it needs more good quality in it. But I would recommend you see it in IMAX or 2D, for an more immersive, unforgettable experience watching the film.
Good film. Fine acting. Fine cinematography. Fine dialogue. Awesome soundtrack. Whew, this one is better than Transformers.

The geek rates it 7.8/10. Real Steel is currently playing in cinemas and IMAX near you.
