Top 5: Movies With A Sad Ending

Aug 10, 2012
This is the first episode for Top 5, where I put in my top favorites or worst things that come up in my mind. And this being the first topic I likely to discuss, Top 5 Movies With A Sad Ending. Prepare a little tissues right in before reading this post and watching the clips attached.
5) House Of Sand And Fog (2003)
House Of Sand And Fog has got to be one of the disturbing movies I had seen, and based on the ending    for this film, it is depressing and at the same time, very creepy. Jennifer Connelly is so great in this scene.

4) Schindler's List (1993)
The ending for Schindler's List is very touching and motivating. I don't much know if the film concludes   with a happy ending or a tragic one. And by the way, the grave scene before the end credits made me love  this film and Spielberg even more.

3) Vertigo (1958)
Vertigo's ending was the best endings Hitchcock has ever done next to that final shot of Norman Bates in Psycho. It was compelling and one of the tragic moments on the film.

2) The Champ (1979)
I had four words for this ending. Ricky Schroeder is so good. You know the ending for this movie made   everyone cry.

1) Midnight Cowboy (1969)
Midnight Cowboy is one of my favorite film, ever. And with that ending and John Barry's emotional score, the ending for this classic is shocking and you even feel the bromance and friendship between Joe Buck and Rico.

And that wraps up Top 5, I will be back next week for my favorite films by Christopher Nolan. Take Care.
