What the Critics are Saying?: Argo

Oct 13, 2012
Debuting it's local release this week, the Ben Affleck-directed and starred Argo is praised by critics around the world saying that 'it was the most enjoyable movie of 2012' and some any 'best film of 2012 so far'. It receives mostly positive feedbacks from various film festivals including the just concluded TIFF.

'Argo' focuses on the rescue mission of 6 US diplomats during the Iran hostage crisis. With stars like Alan Arkin, Ben Affleck, John Goodman and Bryan Cranston, it was no surprise that it got a fresh 94% on Rotten Tomatoes and an 8/10 on IMDb. Here's what the critics are saying.

So, are you guys excited for Argo? If you have seen it, what do you think of Affleck's performance?
