C-Interactive Digital Entertainment has been a great distributor of some of the best films this past lately. 2011 also was a big year for them celebrating the releases of "The Hunger Games" and "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2". For any movie collector, C-Interactive sure knows the best for their costumers with these 4 new releases from them.
One Direction: All For One
I'm never a fan of One Direction nor been a Directioner my whole life. But after seeing this 1-hour documentary of the popular boy band, I kinda appreciate them much more. It's a great documentary especially for the fans. So, if you liked One Direction or their songs, give it a try.
Verdict: I'll give this one a 6/10. An interesting buy for those who are curious about 'One Direction's' journey to stardom.
Step Up: Revolution
A great pull from the fourth movie. Step Up 4 is easily one of those guilty pleasure movies which is surprisingly entertaining. I love the dance routines and songs used in this film compared to the previous films. Even though the acting by the leads was a so-so, the movie did heat up to the well-choreographed dance numbers.
Verdict: I'll give this release a 7/10. Nothing special about this but it's a hell of an entertaining dance movie.
What to Expect When You're Expecting
When you think a couple of a-list actresses all in one movie, you know you'll gonna have a fun time with it. What to Expect When You're Expecting is your typical chick flick every parent relates to. It's a cheesy movie, that is all.
Verdict: I'll give this release a 6.5/10. I never thought being pregnant is funny.
The Cabin in the Woods
This is the main highlight of this post, Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard's tribute to the horror/ slasher genre, The Cabin in the Woods. It is one of the best horror/ comedy i've seen in a very long time. If you're a horror movie fan, you'll certainly agree to me that the ending of this film was completely mindf*cked. Plus, the special features in this DVD was a no-miss. Including Whedon and Goddard's Q&A session at Wondercon.
Verdict: I'll give this release a 8.6/10. Very awesome release by C-Interactive.
