David Fincher's 'Gone Girl' Gets A Trailer and Poster

Apr 15, 2014
The first trailer for David Fincher's 'Gone Girl' is now released. The film is one of my most anticipated films of the year, and the trailer's use of a cover of Elvis Costello's 'She' is spot-on. The tone of the movie is perfect for Fincher to handle, and the film might give him his most-awaited Oscar Best Director win. Ben Affleck on the other hand looks promising. Hit the jump below for the trailer, along with the newly released terrific poster of the movie.

Gone Girl opens October 3.

GONE GIRL -- directed by David Fincher and based upon the global bestseller by Gillian Flynn -- unearths the secrets at the heart of a modern marriage. On the occasion of his fifth wedding anniversary, Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck) reports that his beautiful wife, Amy (Rosamund Pike), has gone missing. Under pressure from the police and a growing media frenzy, Nick's portrait of a blissful union begins to crumble. Soon his lies, deceits and strange behavior have everyone asking the same dark question: Did Nick Dunne kill his wife?
