Channing Tatum Aims For Gold in the Latest 'Foxcatcher' Trailer

Jul 3, 2014
Sony Pictures Classics has released a new trailer (and poster) for Bennett Miller's latest film, 'Foxcatcher'. While the movie is heavily marketed on Steve Carrell's character on the movie, the studios are now focusing on Channing Tatum's Mark Schultz. The early reception from this year's Cannes are praising both Carrell and Tatum for their performance --i wouldn't be surprised if they'll be up for the running in the set of nominees on the Awards season in a couple of months. Watch the trailer after the jump:
It is an intense trailer, and Tatum pushed to envelope to surprise us with his dramatic chops. He was amazing in the recent '22 Jump Street', and the final scene of this trailer showed us he's not f**king around!
The film is based on the true story about wealthy yet eccentric heir John du Pont (Steve Carell), whose goal is to create a top-notch wrestling team to compete in the 1998 Olympics. He recruits Mark and Dave Schultz (Tatum and Mark Ruffalo), a pair of brothers who are both wrestling champions.

'Foxcatcher' opens November 14th in US theaters.
