Tom McCarthy's 'Spotlight', is getting an extended release at the newly opened Cinema '76 and Powerplant Mall in Makati following the film's big win at the 88th Academy Awards, nabbing Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay.

The film, about investigative journalists in the Boston Globe newspaper uncovering the child abuse inside the Catholic Church, stars an impressive cast that includes Michael Keaton, Mark Ruffalo, Rachael McAdams, and Liev Schreiber. McAdams and Ruffalo both received acting nominations in the awards ceremony.
