In “Saturday Night Fever,” director John Badham takes dancing to a whole level featuring disco songs by the Bee Gees. The Saturday Night Fever soundtrack is regarded as one of the best-selling soundtracks of all time.

It features the story of Tony Manero (John Travolta), a working-class young man who spends his weekends drinking and dancing all night at the local Brooklyn club.

John Travolta received nominations for Golden Globe Award for Best Actor - Musical or Comedy and the Academy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Tony.
