Hold on to your seats, it was announced that a sequel to Guillermo Del Toro's 'Pacific Rim' is a go for a April 7, 2017 release!Del Toro confirmed it himself through a PSA video (which you can check after the jump) alongside with an announcement of a animated 'Pacific Rim' series that will be released before the sequel comes out.
Del Toro, with Zak Penn will write the sequel that will be produced by Legendary Pictures and Universal Pictures.
