New 'Wolf of Wall Street' Clip Sees Jonah Hill Quitting His Job For Leonardo DiCaprio

Dec 7, 2013
With Christmas Day fast approaching, or should I say most of the year's award-winners releasing within the month, Paramount Pictures released a new clip for Martin Scorsese's latest dark comedy "The Wolf of Wall Street".

It shows Donnie Azoff (Jonah Hill) meeting Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio) for the first time. Quitting his job after seeing a legit paycheck with $72,000 on hold, moving to the realm of stocks to work for him. It's classic Martin Scorsese all over again and this clip alone made me think of Goodfellas and Casino all in one. Not to mention, Jonah Hill was hilarious in this one.

In The Wolf of Wall Street DiCaprio plays Belfort, a Long Island penny stockbroker who served 20 months in prison for defrauding investors in a massive 1990s securities scheme that involved widespread corruption on Wall Street and in the corporate banking world, including shoe designer Steve Madden.

The Wolf of Wall Street opens December 25, 2013 (U.S.). Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie, Jonah Hill, Jean Judardin, Matthew McConaughey, Kyle Chandler, Rob Reiner and Jon Favreau.
