Lav Diaz's next feature film 'Hele Sa Hiwagang Hapis' (A Lullaby For The SorrowfulMystery) will be having its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival, where it will compete in the Main Competition section on February 18.

Clocking in at 482 minutes, or eight hours long, the black-and-white movie pits together two of the country's top movie stars, John Lloyd Cruz and Piolo Pascual as they will portray the roles of Isagani and Simoun, based on Jose Rizal's fictional characters of his El Filibusterismo and Noli Me Tangere novels.

When asked if 'Hele' will be an acting showdown for the two, Pascual said “Hindi naman kami nagsasapawan. At the end of the day, it’s not about that. It’s about giving our best because it’s our obligation as actors.”
