Kit Harrington and Carice van Houten reunites in 'Brimstone'

Game of Thrones actors Kit Harrington and Carice van Houten is set to appear together for the first time in the silver screen for 'Brimstone'.

It tells the story of a young mother (Dakota Fanning) seeking revenge after being accused wrongly by a ruthless preacher (Guy Pearce).

Harrington and van Houten will play the role of Samuel and Anna, presumably as side characters. Aside from Fanning and Pearce, they will be joined by Emilia Jones, Jack Roth and Jack Hollington.

The film, directed by Martin Koolhoven, was recently added to the prestigious Golden Lion category in the 73rd Venice International Film Festival this August. It was also dubbed as the "most expensive Dutch movie” ever made.

It will compete with Arrival, The Bad Batch, Jackie, La Land, The Light Between Oceans, Nocturnal Animals, On The Milky Road, Paradise, Piuma, Questi giorni, Spira Mirabilis, The Beautiful Days of Aranjuez, The Distinguised Citizen, El Cristo ciego, Frantz, Jackie, The Untamed, Voyage of Time, A Woman's Life and The Woman Who Left.
