'YOU, ME AND MR. WIGGLES' by Jav Velasco
'NANGUNGUPAHAN' by Glenn Barit
'KIKO' by Jojo Driz
'SIYUDAD SA BULAWAN (CITY OF GOLD)' by Jarell Serencio and Olivia Ranido
'YAKAP' by Mika Fabella
The films selected were chosen out of over a hundred submissions. A selection committee composed of NCCA Commissioner of the Arts Teddy Co, professor Nick Deocampo, and filmmakers Eduardo Roy, Jr., Tara Illenberger and Joel Ruiz.
The short films, including the main competition line-up ('Ang Mga Bisita ni Mamang,' 'Ang Pagbabalik ng Kwago,' 'Babae At Baril,' 'Kung Paano Hinihintay Ang Dapithapon,' 'Kuya Wes,' 'Liway,' 'ML,' 'Pan De Salawal,' 'Pilot,' and 'Pinay Beauty') is set to premiere during the festival's run on August 3 to 12, 2018.
