Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," starring Tom Holland and Zendaya.
The film finds Peter Parker at a time when the world doesn't remember him as Spider-Man. While fighting the urge to reconnect with old friends who no longer know him, Peter is caught in a web of self-realisation and a powerful villain threatening to wreak havoc on the city.
The new trailer offers new footage of the titular character, as well as a star-studded supporting ensemble that includes Frank Castle/Punisher (Jon Bernthal), Bruce Banner/The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Scorpion (Michael Mando), MJ (Zendaya), Ned (Jacob Batalon), and a mysterious character played by Sadie Sink. Theories are pointing to Sink playing a familiar character from the X-Men family.
"Spider-Man: Brand New Day" opens in New Zealand cinemas on 30 July 2026. Tickets are on sale now.
