Prime Video has released the first teaser trailer for The Love Hypothesis, the highly anticipated film adaptation of Ali Hazelwood's New York Times bestselling novel.
What Is “The Love Hypothesis” About?
“The Love Hypothesis” follows Olive (Lili Reinhart), a Ph.D. candidate laser focused on her academic future. When she discovers that her best friend Ahn (Rachel Marsh) has fallen for her own crush, Olive makes a split second decision and kisses the first person nearby, the notoriously intimidating Professor Adam Carlsen (Tom Bateman) just to prove she has moved on.
As anyone who has ever read a romance novel knows, fake love has a funny way of becoming very real. Olive soon finds herself testing her most daunting hypothesis yet: that love might actually be worth the risk.

Prime Video's New YA Push
"The Love Hypothesis" is one of several titles featured under Prime Video's new Obsession Is In Session initiative, highlighted at the streamer's inaugural Obsessed Fest. Held at nya Studios in Los Angeles, the event gave fans exclusive first looks and live panels featuring the cast.
Some of the other prominent YA titles celebrated at the event include "Every Year After," "Elle," "Off Campus," "Overcompensating," "Your Fault: London," and "Drawn Together.”
