CMB Film Services is deepening its collaboration with the Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival, once again supplying full-length filmmakers with access to professional-grade production equipment. As part of the renewed partnership, CMB has upped the ante this year, bumping the rental grant pool to PhP 1.25 million — a PhP 250,000 increase from the previous edition.

That extra funding translates to broader access for filmmakers across CMB's full catalogue: cameras, lenses, lighting rigs, grip equipment, and other production essentials. Selected filmmakers will collaborate directly with CMB and Puregold CinePanalo representatives to map out exactly what gear each project needs.

CMB Film Services President Jim Baltazar shared:"For the past two years, the Puregold CinePanalo has been a major catalyst in the production of top tier, internationally acclaimed films made right here in the Philippines," said Baltazar. "At CMB, we seek to empower the filmmakers of the Puregold CinePanalo by providing financial support and access to our world class equipment offerings. This will ensure the Puregold CinePanalo line up continues to raise the standard of excellence in both the local and international cinematic community."

Festival chair and Puregold senior marketing manager Ivy Hayagan-Piedad echoed his sentiment. "We strive to make this upcoming Puregold CinePanalo the biggest and most notable year in the festival's history," said Hayagan-Piedad. "Together with CMB, we have provided our filmmakers the grandest opportunity to realize their dream projects. Higher production grants, higher rental grants, full creative freedom, all these things together makes the 2026 Puregold CinePanalo a landmark occasion for culture and local cinema."
