One oxytocin-fueled night, powerhouse OPM acts, and thousands of fans—all these await concertgoers at Puregold OPM Con Generations 2026, the sold-out music event that’s touted to be one of the country’s biggest and loudest celebrations of Original Pilipino Music.
Returning to the Smart Araneta Coliseum on July 11, this year's edition raises the bar with its most diverse lineup yet, bringing together SB19, Ben&Ben, Alamat, Flow G, Skusta Clee, SunKissed Lola, G22, KAIA, and XONARA in one spectacular show.
From P-pop and hip-hop to folk-pop and rock, the talents in this year’s concert showcase the many sounds shaping today’s OPM landscape. If you’re among the lucky fans who have secured tickets, here are five tips to help you make the most of your OPM Con experience.
Eat and hydrate before you go in
With a lineup this packed, you'll want fuel in the tank before doors open, so have a proper meal and drink plenty of water beforehand. Just don't plan on bringing any of it inside with you. Tumblers, drinks, and food are all on the no-go list at the entrance.
Get there early and make a night of it
Security lines at a sold-out Araneta show are no joke, and they only get longer as showtime creeps closer. Aim to arrive two to three hours early. It'll give you breathing room to get through security, settle into your seat, and still have time to wander the brand booths set up around the venue.
While you're in the area, swing by the Negosyo Fan Zone on the second floor of Puregold Cubao. Local vendors will be there selling handmade and custom fan merch, plus running interactive activities worth checking out, and here's the thing: you don't even need a concert ticket to join in.

Dress like you're staying till the encore
Comfort wins over style tonight. You'll be on your feet singing and dancing for hours, so breathable clothing and sneakers you can actually move in are non negotiable. Save the elaborate outfit for the photos beforehand. Once the show starts, you'll be grateful you dressed for stamina over aesthetics.
Travel light
Ticket, valid ID, phone, wallet, and a fully charged power bank. That's really all you need. The less you're carrying, the faster you'll clear security and the easier it'll be to navigate the crowd once you're inside. Worth doing a quick check of the event's prohibited items list before you leave the house, just so nothing catches you off guard at the gate.
Finally, soak in every moment
Sure, film the chorus of your favourite song, get your Instagram Stories in, capture the confetti moment. But don't spend the whole night watching the show through a screen. OPM Con Generations exists to bring different fandoms and generations together in one room, and the moments that'll actually stick with you (singing along with thousands of strangers, catching an act you didn't expect to love, watching artists share a stage that rarely happens outside a night like this) aren't the ones you'll remember through your camera roll.
Between the demand it's generated, the sheer range of the lineup, and the community first touches like the Negosyo Fan Zone, this year's OPM Con Generations looks set to be another reminder of just how much OPM has grown, and how far its fanbase is willing to go for it.
