Ferris Bueller's Day Off tells the story, an story which we all can relate, Ferris Bueller on living the dream by skipping school to spend a day in Downtown Chicago. Accompanied with his girlfriend Sloane Peterson and his bestfriend Cameron Frye, who creatively avoids his school's Dean of Students Edward Rooney, his resentful sister Jeanie, and his parents.
The film itself is very entertaining. It's very funny, your jaws will surely break for laughing. It is somewhat surprises me. Every scene will surely makes you nervous and laugh at the same time. I love how this simple setting would turn out as an 80s sensation. I would totally wish to be part of the 80s, I would totally love to become part of that generation. The music, movies, clothing and this film was exactly very beautiful.

Matthew Broderick did a courageous and funny portrayal of Ferris Bueller. At first I saw Matthew Broderick in the poster, I said he would totally suck here. Besides the aspects of him having a bad acting these days, he totally surprises me here. Alan Ruck defines comedy here. I was totally amazed with his humor and acting would never last in this film. He didn't much act these days but I hope someday, he would do another comedy like this.
This film totally defines the 80s. I love how it relates me as a student. This film makes me remember the old times and it would totally made everyone laugh, smile, or even dance. I love Matthew Broderick's performance of The Beatles' "Twist And Shout", made me remember Joseph Gordon Levitt's performance in 500 Days Of Summer. I love this film and I would totally love to see this film in my DVD collection.

The performance is good. Humor is well-done. Setting is fine. Soundtrack is good. Story is very complex and Cinematography is alright.

The geek rates it 8.1/10. Love the film and it's a good introduction for me to the 80s. Hoping to have a sequel soon.
