Phil Lord and Chris Miller To Direct Young 'Han Solo' Movie

Surprise, surprise!

Disney has announced that directing duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller are tapped to direct the untitled Han Solo movie as part of the Star Wars Anthology films set for a 2018 release. I can already see the fit since these guys are very well-known for making scraps into great movies with the LEGO Movie and the 21 Jump Street films. Having said that, their upcoming slate of films got more jammed as they are also set to direct/ write future LEGO and Jump Street films, an animated Spider-Man film for Sony, The Flash for Warner Bros. I imagine the stress they'll have with these giant tentpoles now.

The untitled Han Solo movie is set to open May 25, 2018!
