A film that flashbacks my childhood.
Bridge to Terabithia tells the story of Jess and Leslie, ten year-old neighbors who created and imagine a world called 'Terabithia' and spends their free time together there. The film is based on a best-selling novel by Katherine Peterson.
So, actually I rewatched the film after 4-5 years. I was like 10-11 years old since I watched it with my parents in Star Movies. Remembering, I enjoyed the film, many of you guys can relate to Jess, which had lost one of the most important persons (or maybe a relative) in his life, his friend.
I love Josh Hutcherson's acting. Love the old times where Josh was a very neat, cute kid that I admire in Zathura. Be sure to check him out in the adaptation of the best-selling book, The Hunger Games in 2012. To AnnaSophia Robb, it's an okay to me, i still enjoy it. She still did what she had to do.
I enjoy the film, but I almost cry in Leslie's death. Very dramatic scene. There, I enjoyed Hutcherson's sad acting. Still a fine, good film.
Fine Editing. Fine visuals. Fine acting. Fine story. Fine cinematography. Lame soundtrack. I recommend you to just rent it if you really wanna see this film.
The geek rates it 5.3/10. Still fine film. I enjoyed watching it.
