As part of their panel in San Diego Comic-Con 2016, DC presented first footage of their offerings next year: Wonder Woman and Justice League.
Wonder Woman marks the first stand-alone feature of the titular character (played by Gal Gadot), an Amazonian warrior set in the first World War. The film also stars Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis and Danny Huston, from a script written by Geoff Johns and Allan Heinberg. It opens next June.
The character's appearance from the film (including Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice) will culminate in Justice League, where she will be teaming up with Batman (Ben Affleck), The Flash (Ezra Miller), Superman (Henry Cavill) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) to battle the villain Steppenwolf. While its release don't come until November 2017, it's a nice treat for fans excited to get the iconic team in action.
Aside from footage from both films, Warner Bros. also release the first official poster for Wonder Woman and new image for Justice League.
