The Han Solo spin-off, next in line on the slate of 'Star Wars' stand-alone films after 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story', is going off a pretty good start.
In an interview, Iain McCaig revealed that there's no need to be skeptical about the upcoming film. Even going further to call it "the best STAR WARS script" he has read.
“[Untitled Han Solo movie] has by far the best STAR WARS script, and one of the best scripts period, that I have ever read. I laughed, I cried, I did all the things you should do when reading a good script. You’re in for a treat.”
McCaig has a good relationship with LucasFilms, making the official concept arts of the 'Star Wars' movies, including last year's 'The Force Awakens'.
Written by Lawrence and Jon Kasdan, the 'Untitled Han Solo Movie' stars Alden Ehrenreich as the titular hero to be directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller. The film opens in 2018.
