Imagine your superhero origin story a la Superman but another beast entirely. The trailer for 'Brightburn' is now up, which is a superhero movie under the mask of a supernatural thriller.
It is directed by David Yarovesky (The Hive), and its story is centered on the question: "What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister?"
James Gunn produces the film, alongside Dan Clifton, Simon Hatt, Nic Crawley and its screenwriters Mark and Brian Gunn.
'Brightburn' — which stars Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, Jackson A. Dunn, Matt Jones, and Meredith Hagner — opens in Philippine cinemas in 2019 by Columbia Pictures.
