I still gush on the notion that we can now label Jordan Peele as Academy Award Winner Jordan Peele. After his breakout directing debut in 'Get Out,' his follow-up 'Us' has him tackling on another form of nightmare: literally battling one's own demons.
Universal Pictures has released the trailer (watch below). Lupita Nyong'o and Winston Duke play parents of two. During their summer getaway, unresolved trauma from the past puts the family in a very terrifying position, stumbling upon doppelgängers of themselves.
Writer and director Peele produces for his Monkeypaw Productions alongside Sean McKittrick, Jason Blum, and Monkeypaw’s Ian Cooper.
'Us' opens in Philippine cinemas March 13, 2019.
