The trailer for Netflix’s ‘The Umbrella Academy’ is now released, offering our first look on the streaming platform’s upcoming series based on Gerard Way and illustrator Gabriel Bá’s comic book series.
The story surrounds on a billionaire who adopted seven children to train them in saving the world. When he dies, his children will work together in solving the mystery of their father’s death.
Steve Blackman is the showrunner and will feature a cast that consists of Ellen Page, Mary J. Blige, Cameron Britton, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Colm Feore, Adam Godley, John Magaro, Ashley Madekwe, and Kate Walsh. Way and Bá serve as executive producers for the series, which will run for 10 episodes (with a running time of 1 hour each).
‘The Umbrella Academy’ will stream in Netflix starting February 15, 2019.
